    Default Fast Incremental Backups?

    Hello,

    When doing incremental backups, I see amanda copying an entire file even when a just single byte of it has changed.
    Is there a way to let amanda copy that single byte only instead of the whole file? In other words: can amdanda do fast incremental backups?

    Much obliged for the answer!

    I have 24GB of memory out of which 22 GB has been reserved! Likewise my dumping procedure is too moderate.. It has been two days and it has quite recently dumped 2000gB out of about 4500GB information. The following is the yield of status of the current dump which is running..
