    Default Information about Restore

    Hello everybody.
After googleing and searching through the forums I have not been able to find much info on my issues. If this question is duplicated else where I apologize.

I am trying to restore from tapes that are a few years old and no longer indexed in amanada. I am not the one who setup amanada and the previous admin let no documentation.

I have run amrestore -p /dev/IBMtape0 no-such-host > /dev/null to get a list of all images on the tape. It shows 2 files then the error
Could not seek device /dev/IBMtape0 to file 3: Invalid amanda header while reading file header.

Is there anything I can do to see/fix the headers.

    Have a nice day.
