HTTPS support in thttpd
Hi All,
We have a linux device (MontaVista) with the open source thttpd server running on it. Currently it supports only http. We are investigating whether we could make that support https as well. On the internet I came across different post which says to create and install a self signed SSL certificate and then making some changes in thttpd.conf. Contrary to this, I also came across different post where it is mentioned that thttps is a light weight http server designed for embedded applications and it cannot support https.
Now I am confused between these two different views. If any of you have any idea about https support/enabling in thttps then please let me know.
All replies would be deeply appreciated.
Note: This is what I get when I issue the thttpd -V command.-> "thttpd/2.25b 29dec2003"
Thanks,
Siva
