How can I figure out the actual position (drive in front of which slot) of the drive? I read through the amanda commands but didn't find any appropriate command. We created a script for amanda to ShowNextBackup/ArchiveTapesNeeded, in order we are scanning what tapes are actual in the loader but after scanning the drive is not in front of the next tape that amanda expects to use. Our tape drive is an Eternus LT20 with 8 slots. I hope you can help.
