Dell TL2000 and CentOS 6.3/Amanda

I'm a new IT Engineer in the company and among the company infrastructure I have a new Dell PowerVault TL2000 tape library. I can not find any documentation that explains how to just restore projects already archived in tapes on computers back. I'm suggesting that I should use the "Open I/O station", insert the HP cartridge into the slot and after that (on the side of CentOS 6.3 with Amanda) use mt/mtx tools, but I have no experience for that. Meanwhile I have some deadline to restore the project back.

Any help?
