Default critical problem in Amanda Backup

    Hello,
we installed amanda server and it make the daily back from the data of the another server.

in previous few days ago, the HDD of our server was gone.

So, I tried to retrieve the data from amanda server.

So, when I check the history, I found the following backups.

    201- 2013-12-27-01-00-01 1 DailySet1-018:6
    201- 2013-12-26-01-00-02 1 DailySet1-017:7

    201- 2013-11-28-01-00-01 1 DailySet1-022:7
In this case, I set the date as 2013-12-26-01-00-02

but when I add the directory, it added 2 directories as follows

    amrecover> add DATAROOT/
Added dir /DATAROOT/ at date 2013-12-16-01-00-02
Added dir /DATAROOT/ at date 2013-12-26-01-00-02
Actually, I just want to take the backup of 2013-12-26-01-00-02

But, when I extraxt, it just extract the date of 2013-12-16-01-00-02

I already set the date for several time

Is there any solution for this?

    Default

amrecover always restore from the level 0 up to the level of the date you specified, it is the only way to restore a complete directory.

If you really know what you do and want to restore only from the level 1 backup you can select only the files you want to restore (no directory) or type 's' for 'skip' when it ask for the label of the full backup.
