    Default Cloud communication error[CLOUD_ERROR_SignatureDoesNotMatch]

    A large number of customers have reported that their uploads to Amazon S3 are failing with Cloud communication error[CLOUD_ERROR_SignatureDoesNotMatch]

    Investigation has revealed that the cause of this error is on Amazon's side. Connections to certain endpoints fail. If several connections in a row fail, ZCB fails the upload with the error above.

    The workaround is intended as a temporary fix and should be undone once the issue is resolved on Amazon's side. Please open a support case via the Zmanda Network if you would like to be notified when the issue has been resolved.

    ZCB 4.10 has been released and includes an internal workaround for this error.

    Please upgrade to ZCB 4.10 and reverse the changes to your HOSTS files as recommended above.
