How to backup a 2.4.5p1 server (from 3.3.3 server)

Hello,

Here's my situation: I have a 2.4.5p1 server (Server A)already in place, witch i cannot change, and i also have a new 3.3.3 Server(Server B), with a new tape device.
I need to backup directories from the Server A with Server B, without changing the Amanda version, but so far i cant.
It may be because Server B using "amandabackup" as the backup user, and the Server A uses "backup", but the "amcheck" says "Connection refused"
I know that on the lastest version, i need to create file .amandahosts in /home/amandabackup, with "ServerName amandabackup amdump", but on my old server, i just wont work.

The debug log says :

So, is it possible for a machine to be server and client as the same time? If yes, how come this wont work?

amanda 3.3.3 use the 'bsdtcp' auth by default which is not available in 2.4.5

set the auth dumptype option to "bsd"
