Default OpenBSD???

Hi all,

Has anyone ported the Amanda server to OpenBSD, or compiled the source there? We are thinking of using OpenBSD for a backup server for several Windows 200x servers.

Default OpenBSD available

See http://www.openbsd.org/3.6_packages/hppa/amanda-2.4.2.2.tgz-long.html

I think you should be able to compile Amanda 2.5 for OpenBSD. 2.4.2 is really old.

Default Re:Open BSD?

Hi Aaron
Amanda does fine on OpenBSD. I have seen usenet reports that it
does well with dump on OpenBSD. As for Windows, your choices are
either CygWIN or Samba.

Hope this helps.
