How to make an image from Windows
Hi,
Im new with amanda and have some questions.
I want to make a backup from a windows machine.
Actually , I run a debian server with amanda server. The zmanda windows client is installed on the windows machine.
I am able to make a backup from a directory e.g. c:\data
I created the config with that command: amaddclient --config DailySet1 --client 172.28.3.205 --diskdev C:/data --dumptype zwc-compress
Is it possible to make a backup of c:\ ? When I try to change the Path in disklist from c:\data to c:\, the backup wont work anymore.
When I run the command "amdump DailySet1", it just quits after 2 minutes without any backup action.
What can be wrong ?
Is there another way to make a image from a windows client ?
Greets,
Thomas

If so, where I can read?
