I have been getting missing results errors in production when running amanda at lower priority so as not to cause problems with servers during production hours.

So I scaled back my disklist so that it includes only one of the failed servers and ran amanda at normal priority.

It failed with this error in the amreport:

Code:
-sh-3.2$ amreport acadaca
*** THE DUMPS DID NOT FINISH PROPERLY!

Hostname: amanda
Org : acadaca
Config : acadaca
Date : June 6, 2011

These dumps were to tape acadaca-10.
There are 14672M of dumps left in the holding disk.
They will be flushed on the next run.

The next 10 tapes Amanda expects to use are: acadaca-1, acadaca-2, acadaca-3, acadaca-4, acadaca-5, acadaca-6, acadaca-7, acadaca-8, acadaca-9, acadaca-10.
The next 10 new tapes already labelled are: acadaca-20, acadaca-21, acadaca-22, acadaca-23, acadaca-24, acadaca-25, acadaca-26, acadaca-27, acadaca-28, acadaca-29

These are the totals for the estimate time on the client:

I am backing up 4 dles on this server:
Code:
-sh-3.2$ amadmin acadaca dles | grep jessie
jessie.example.com /etc
jessie.example.com /root
jessie.example.com /var/www
jessie.example.com /usr/local
This totals 601.684 seconds for all the dles. The amanda server has an etimeout of 2400:

Code:
etimeout 2400

Based on this setting the estimates should time out at 9600 seconds on this machine. So timeouts would appear to not be the cause of the issue.

I would greatly appreciate any input you may have into the cause of the issue. Thank you greatly in advance!
