    Default WARNING: localhost: selfcheck request failed: Connection refused

    Any help will be much appreciated I have been trying for 4 days to get this working I have installed Amanda 3.1.3-2 on Fedora 14 at the moment I am just trying to backup a folder on the server so it is the server & client. I think I have everything setup using bsdtcp but when I run amcheck DailySet1 I get the message

    I have turned off the Firewall and SELinux but still the same

    I think I have worked it out I did not need to use bsdtcp as the authentication as the server is the client as well I set the authentication to local and now I am getting no errors and working with Firewall & SELinux
