    Default Upgrade 2.5.2p1 to 3.2.1?

    Hello, I've been a long-time happy user of Amanda Community on 2.5.2p1 on CentOS 5 i386. I'd like to upgrade to 3.2.1 and I'm wondering if I should upgrade one release at a time (i.e. 2.5 -> 2.6 -> 3.1 -> 3.2) or if I can jump straight from 2.5.2p1 to 3.2.1?

    I've been reading the various release notes to understand deprecated amanda.conf entries, etc. but I'd like to know which method folks recommend. Thanks.

    You can upgrade directly to 3.2.1. You should be careful to preserve old logs/configurations if you want to recover the backup images created using 2.5.2p1 using amrecover or other restore tools.
