Backup to a non-OS HDD
I have installed BackupPC 3.1.0 on an Ubuntu 10.04 system.
It installs well - no errors - and looks as though it could do what I want - almost.
Although I am not a computer novice, (but from a Windows environment) I must admit that I can make very little sense out of the documentation attached to the app. And so I must request assistance here.
I want to backup my Ubuntu system, data, network computers, etc.., on a non-OS HDD. How can I configure backuppc to do this?
In my case, the HDD for the backups is /dev/sde.
Assistance please.

It appears that this is impossible in this application.
