    Default amrecover

I've used amrecover successfully once, but now it's doing something strange, not sure if I'm missing a step...

    server:~# amrecover
AMRECOVER Version 3.1.0. Contacting server on server.internal.server.com ...
220 server AMANDA index server (3.1.0) ready.
Setting restore date to today (2010-06-11)
200 Working date set to 2010-06-11.
    server:~#

it doesn't go to the amrecover> prompt, it goes straight back to the shell prompt.

Basically I'm just trying to see the files that were backed up to make sure they are there.
I've looked through the post and haven't found anything like this.

    Here is the amrecover debug
    Fri Jun 11 16:31:14 2010: amrecover: pid 6205 ruid 0 euid 0 version 3.1.0: start at Fri Jun 11 16:31:14 2010

    Hi,

do you really ment to connect to localhost?
    "Fri Jun 11 16:31:14 2010: amrecover: connected to 127.0.1.1.10080"

I am using amrecover like this
    Code:
    amrecover -s index_server -t tape_server -C config -oauth=bsdtcp
or you set up a client.conf:

    Code:
    vi /etc/amanda/amanda-client.conf

conf "config" # your config name
    index_server "index_server" # your amindexd server
    tape_server "tape_server" # your amidxtaped server
    auth "bsdtcp"
    regards,
    therm

That's when I tried to do it locally, I get the same results when I try to do it from another machine I'm backing up and I run amrecover.
