I'm running CentOS 5.2 and would like to run BackupPC to backup this PC to a DVD-RW drive (there are 2 installed). Is this possible to backup the server PC to a DVD? And what's the best way to install BackupPC onto CentOS5.2?

BackupPC does not archive directly to media, so it may not fit your needs. BackupPC records data to the hard drive. You should investigate Amanda; support for backing up to optical media is a new feature in 3.1.
