Thread: Error backing up one directory

Default Error backing up one directory

When I perform my backups, one directory out of all my backups fails consistently, with the error below backing up /home:

    workerbee.igb.uiuc.edu:/etc 0 0g finished (9:19:05)
workerbee.igb.uiuc.edu:/home 1 failed: dumper: [request failed: Cannot assign requested address](too)

    Mountpoint layout is:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/sda1 4.6T 1.9T 2.5T 42% /
    /dev/sda2 95G 4.9G 85G 6% /var
    /dev/sdb1 289M 32M 242M 12% /boot
    tmpfs 32G 0 32G 0% /dev/shm
    /dev/sdb2 275G 86G 176G 33% /var/lib/mysql
    none 32G 112K 32G 1% /var/lib/xenstored
    /dev/sdc 2.7T 2.3T 330G 88% /mnt/disk

Other directories on the same machine save appropriately, but this one always fails. Any ideas?

    Default

Use a large range for reserved-tcp-port.

You can get the current value with
    amgetconf CONF reserved-tcp-port
