Hi ppl,

Iam new to amanda backup technology.i have so many queries reg this.
1.what is the difference between 2.5.1 and 2.6.0 version?.
2.iam confused about how to start with linux commands:confused in amanda windows client and what is the need for both amanda windows client and linux client.

The difference between 2.5.1 and 2.6.0 can be seen in the NEWS file:

You'll need a Windows client to back up Windows systems, and a Linux client to back up Linux systems.
