    Default runtapes volumes already written

    Hi!
I get an error when dumpning:
A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: runtapes volumes already written

    What does this message mean?

The holdingdisk is now filling up after and it's not flused, even if the flush-threshold limits have been reach.

The same configuration has worked before (I think). This is a new installation, so I'm not 100% sure if the configuration is correct.

If I try amflush I get the same error.

In the output from amflush (part of it below) is a line:
Failed taper scan: fatal changer error: slot <error>: unexpected EOF

In the logfile (below) it's also an input/output error for writting filemark.

I have done amcheck with the write flag (-w) and it's OK.

Post the taper debug file and the change debug file.

I checked the tapeloader with a testprogram from the manufacturer (Quantum) and looks like it's a hardware failure on the drive.

Of course I should have checked the hardware first, but it's not easy as newbi on amanda, know where to look when it doesn't work.
