Well, it's not quite beta2, but rather CVS from a day or so before the announcement was made. The installation is to test the encryption of backups.

I'm pleased to say that I'm very impressed! The backup server has two devices that are the only hosts in the disklist. Both are being backed up with dump and client compression. One is client side encrypted, one is not.

Things are working great so far - I will probably be deploying a production Amanda 2.5 server at some point in the near future.
