execute-on failure option?

Is there a "execute-on failure" or something similar where amanda will run the specified script when something went wrong during a backup?

- Client was unavailable
- Couldn't write to the holding disk
- Ranout of tape, etc.

There is no direct way to make Amanda execute a script on failure.

You can parse the report that is mailed to amanda user and execute a script.

In 2.6.x release, you might be able to use pre-backup scripts. [url]http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Script_API[/url]
