    winbackup:backup:ERROR: copy-plugin exited with error 512
winbackup:backup:ERROR: Could not copy bin log file testincr.000003
    winbackup:backup:INFO: incremental=testincr.[0-9]*
winbackup:backup:INFO: PHASE END: Creating incremental backup
winbackup:backup:INFO: PHASE START: Calculating backup size & checksums
    winbackup:backup:INFO: next-binlog=testincr.000004
    winbackup:backup:INFO: last-backup=/var/lib/mysql-zrm/winbackup/20080722110303

What type of backup it is "local" OR "remote", I mean MySQL server is running locally or remotely?

Can you please see the ownership for "/var/lib/mysql/testincr.000003" by executing "ls -l /var/lib/mysql/testincr.000003" on the MySQL server.

    Hi,
    MYSQL server is running remotely.
    By executing ls -l /var/lib/mysql/testincr.000003

    -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 140 2008-07-22 11:16 /var/lib/mysql/testincr.000003
    .
    Thanks & regards,

If it is remote MySQL server then following things needs to be done:
    1. mysql user ID and group ID of MySQL server needs to be matched with mysql user ID and group ID of ZRM server .
    2. If you are using SSH copy then ssh keys should be exchanged to enable password less authentication i.e. ssh key based authentication. Following is the process for the same.

On the ZRM server, perform the following steps:
    Become the mysql user:
    #su mysql

    Generate public and private keys:
    #ssh-keygen -t rsa
    Generating public/private rsa key pair.
Enter file in which to save the key
    /var/lib/mysql/.ssh/id_rsa):
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
    Enter same passphrase again:
Your identification has been saved in
    /var/lib/mysql/.ssh/id_rsa.
Your public key has been saved in
    /var/lib/mysql/.ssh/id_rsa.pub.
    The key fingerprint is:
    61:b3:88:a4:dd:86:2c:ef:2f:73:8b:91:ec:aa:3d:4a mysql@host

Copy id_rsa.pub from the ZRM server file to the mysql client machine. This file is located in the .ssh directory in the mysql user's home directory.
Perform following steps on Client machine:

Login to mysql client machine as the mysql user:
    #su mysql
If the authorized_keys file is not present in the .ssh folder in the home directory of mysql user, create the file. Append the contents of id_rsa.pub to the authorized_keys file.
    # cat id_rsa.pub >> authorized_keys
After performing these steps, the mysql user from the ZRM Server will be able to login to the mysql client machine without a password by using key-based authentication
