    Did you mean to use -b 524288 ? When I pass amrestore on Solaris 10 anything less than 32768 it does a 32k read.

    I had a problem with an amanda client failing. With the previously mentioned error in amanda's logs.
    FYI: index tee cannot write [Broken pipe]

    In my case it was an selinux policy breaking things....
