Hi All,
When I'm trying to backup MySQL using a storage snapshot I can see that during the "lock tables" phase there is no IO at all and queries are paused.
Is that considered as a hot backup in MySQL world? I know that MSSQL or Oracle for example are serving out requests during backup.
Would appreciate if someone can make this thing clearer to me.
Thanks,
AP
