Are the uploads to amazon run by a service running on the computer. I have had the following issue.

Backup run on our win 2008 TS, backup to file then upload to cloud. I back up to a folder on a NAS on a shedule once the backup is finished log on to the TS as administrator and start upload of the backup to amazon.

I then log off the TS. After loging off the upload soon stops if I stay logged on the upload seems to continue:confused:

So for uploads to work do you have to be logged on and running the CloudBackup UI.

Hey Acumen team,

If you launch the upload by hand, then yes it will die when you log out. If you run the upload with a schedule, then it will run when you are logged out. If you are performing a backup to file and upload then ZCB should automatically be starting the upload when the backup to file completes. Does this make sense?

Regards,
Boris

yes does make sense, sorry for the dum question. I should of realised it has to be a service to run after log off.
