Hello,

I have Amanda server(Virtual tapes) running on Solaris 10 and Client is Centos 5.6. Amcheck returns no errors. This client was configured as a replacement of a solaris 10 client which worked fine but I had to be replaced with Linux. Ever since the new linux client is configured I get to read a FAIL report every morning after the scheduled back runs at about midnight on this client.

Here is what email says,

Hostname: blah
Date : July 18, 2011

These dumps were to tapes MF-19, MF-20, MF-1.
There are 1603k of dumps left in the holding disk.
They will be flushed on the next run.

The next 9 tapes Amanda expects to use are: MF-2, MF-3, MF-4, MF-5, MF-6, MF-7, MF-8, MF-9, MF-10.

I can provide all additional information as you ask. One additional note is, while configuring disklist for this client, I commented out all entries for old solaris 10 client and added the required linux client entries and ran amcheck which doesn't return any errors now.

Any inputs will be useful.

Thank you.
