Hello Everybody,

I am running ZRM 2.0 for MySQL. While trying to restore a database which contains a mix of MyISAM and InnoDB tables I am getting the following error:

[root@infrastructure mysql-zrm]# mysql-zrm --action restore --source-directory /database/pms-intranet/20110527035743 -password abcd
restore:INFO: ZRM for MySQL Community Edition - version 2.0
BackupSet1:restore:WARNING: Binary logging is off.
ERROR 1044 (42000) at line 40 in file: '/tmp/jKxX323xDb': Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' to database 'pms'
BackupSet1:restore:ERROR: Restore from logical backup failed
BackupSet1:restore:ERROR: Restore failed

But I am able to connect to the local mysql server and access the pms database :

[root@infrastructure mysql-zrm]# mysql -p
Enter password:
Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 4 to server version: 5.0.22

Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. Type '\c' to clear the buffer.

mysql>
mysql>
mysql> use pms;
Reading table information for completion of table and column names
You can turn off this feature to get a quicker startup with -A

Database changed
mysql>

The mysql-zrm.conf file contains:

backup-level=0
backup-mode=logical
destination=/database
retention-policy=7D
compress=1
databases=pms
user="backup_user"
password="passwd1234"
host="10.50.2.12"

Kindly help me in debugging this issue.

Regards,

Goutam

Does the user "backup_user" have sufficient privileges to create the database?
See examples at http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Pre-Installation#MySQL_Backup_User
