When backing up using LVM snapshots and compression, the backup fails while deleting the uncompressed files.

Our server is running CentOS 4.5 (RHEL4U5 equivalent) and MySQL 4.1.21.

Our MySQL InnoDB data and logs (not binlogs) live in /home/mysql/mysql. /home/mysql is the mount point for the LV.

The backup proceeds normally, until it runs the find() to delete the uncompressed files, where it fails with:

Can't cd to /home/backup/backedup/mysql-zrm/BackupSet1/20061213195558/home/mysql/mysql/.. at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/File/Find.pm line 928.

Has anyone else seen similar behavior or have thoughts?
