View Full Version : Temporarily disable a host in a set.

I might be missing it, but I can't find a way to disable a specific host from backing up in a set.

I have tried changing the host from live to plan, but it shows still as being live.

Basically I am having an issue where I am running out of disk space during the backups and this is crashing this specific server. I will put in some new drives soon, but in the meantime I want to simply not have zmanda backup the server. I do not want to delete it since I will have to put it back in again shortly, and also do not want to remove the ability of being able to retrieve backuped files.

For now, I simply removed the entry for the backup server in .amandahost, but it would be nice to have a "Disable" button in the manager that would allow me to disable one specific host in a set.

You can specify "strategy skip" in disklist.conf for all DLEs for the client.

This will be available as part of ZMC in next release of AE.
