Hello everyone,
We'd like to announce the release of BackupPC Community Edition
v3.1.1. We've decided to make a release that includes patches
that the community has provided in addition to other bug fixes.
The packages and source tar ball is available at
http://www.zmanda.com/download-backuppc.php
Fixes in v3.1.1:
- Moved setting of $bpc->{PoolDir} and $bpc->{CPoolDir} so
$TopDir can be easily overwritten in config.pl
- Mail is correctly encoded and not sent when backups
are disabled
- replaced original freebsd-backuppc script with one supplied
by Dan D Niles <[email protected]> that uses freebsd internals.
- perl 5.10 interprets a function argument to sort as a
bareword, which is an error with strict. Fixed.
- BackupPC_dump now creates the subdirs in $TopDir if they don't exist.
- Fixed reqFileName checking on BackupPC_archive.
- Automatic generation of a drop-in conf.d script for use with apache
RPM packages of backuppc_community-3.1.0+ftp-2 are available at
http://www.backuppc.com, as well as a tarball. For that matter, you
can upgrade your current BackupPC installation with BackupPC Community
Edition.
I will be working with Craig to merge the changes to sourceforge tree soon.
Adios,
