I have amanda-enterprise-2.6.4-installer.bin, but It is not working properly.
After changing the content of the .am_passphrase, I am also able to decrypt the data.

Some Detail about symmetric encryption:=================>

I have amanda-enterprise-2.6.4-installer.bin installed on RHEL5.
I have already installed required packages aespipe, uuencode and gpg.

As root user -->
# head -c 2925 /dev/random | uuencode -m - | head -n 66 | tail -n 65 | gpg --symmetric -a > ~amandabackup/.gnupg/am_key.gpg
# chown amandabackup:disk ~amandabackup/.gnupg/am_key.gpg
# chmod 400 ~amandabackup/.gnupg/am_key.gpg

As amandabackup user -->
-sh-3.1$ ls -al | grep .am_passphrase
-rwx------ 1 amandabackup disk 33 Oct 20 13:05 .am_passphrase

Finally .am_passphrase is not working with this version of amanda-enterprise while community version amanda-backup_server-2.5.2p1-1.rhel5.i386.rpm working properly.
Please guide me with the issues.
