View Full Version : Encryption Error: ".passphrase missing"

September 2nd, 2008, 05:28 AM
Hi All!!

I'm trying to take the backup through ZRM with encyption=1 option (backed up database will be encrypted).

It throws the following error:
Passphrase file /etc/mysql-zrm/.passphrase not found at /usr/share/mysql-zrm/plugins/encrypt.pl line 80.

I checked for the .passphrase file - it is required by the GPG for encryption but is somehow not present(got accidently deleted). Could somebody tell me how to get it back in place?? I tried creating an empty file and then re-generating the keys, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Complete uninstallation-reinstallation may help but when I uninstall ZRM, it leaves behind some files and reintegrates them on reinstallation.

Could somebody help me with this??
