View Full Version : Windows Client Verify Error

I am using the enterprise version of Amanda (2.6.3). I have installed the community version of Amanda (2.5.2p1). The client install ran without error. We have a couple of Linux clients that have been successfully installed and backed up. When I run Verify Clients in the Zmanda Mgmt Cons I receive the following errors...

ERROR: winclient: [can not execute /bin/dump: No such file or directory]
ERROR: winclient: [can not execute /usr/sbin/restore: No such file or directory]

I have verified the server can resolve the winclient's hostname and vice versa. Any help in troubleshooting would be appreciated. The Amanda backup product is completely new to me.

There are no alerts generated when I run verify clients.

You mentioned that you're using Amanda Enterprise, but have installed Amanda community. Which version of the software are you using...Community or Enterprise? Are you trying to run one version on the server, and one on the client? If so, which is where?

If you are running Amanda Enterprise, you have support available to you via the Zmanda Network (http://network.zmanda.com).
