Hi all,
I'm getting an error from zmanda when it tries to backup my database:

BACKUP SUMMARY:
Backup Level = 0
MySQL Version = 5.0.50sp1a-enterprise-gpl-log
Host = localhost
Replication related files backed up = master.info relay-log.info
Retention policy = 2W
Compress = No
Encrypted = No

STATISTICS:

ERRORS:
Data not available in database.
WARNINGS:
Data not available in database

Not sure what that means and can't find reference to what it means in the docs. Anyone seen this before? I checked that the user it's using can log in and do a select from the database in question and am a bit lost beyond that.

Help?

Please check to see that the backup user has the correct permissions in the MySQL server:
LOCK TABLES, SELECT, FILE, RELOAD, SUPER, SHOW VIEW

Also, is the database empty? Please set "verbose=1" in your mysql-zrm.conf file and run the backup again. Then, please include your /var/log/mysql-zrm/mysql-zrm.log file so we can have a look. Thank you.

Another reason for this failure:

Please check the ownership of database files. ZRM runs as mysql user.

Check to see if /var/lib/mysql (your mysql datadir location) has correct permissions for mysql user to read the database files.

Ahh...excellent. I had just done a slave restore with raw files from the master and hadn't gotten the permissions correct. That fixed it. thanks!
