1. It has been a while you released anything for community version. Are there any plans for update or you made a decision to close your software down and only provide it for paid customers?

2. What is the difference in basic functionality / features between 1.2.1 Community and 2.1 Enterprise if I only backup MySQL 5.0 on a single Linux server.

3. Any plans for 5.1 support?

No. We will continue to add features/functionality to community version. We will also provide support in forums and continue to maintain documentation in the wiki (http://mysqlbackup.zmanda.com)

We are working on 2.0 version (We are little behind the plan on this. It should be ready in couple of weeks).

Please see the table in the bottom of the web page (http://www.zmanda.com/zrm-mysql-enterprise.html) that provides a description of the differences between community and Enterprise.

If you have only one Linux server and are backing up on the same machine, the key features that enterprise edition provides are web based console, support, better backup mechanisms.

3. Any plans for 5.1 support?

We are testing with MySQL 5.1 and it is expected to work.
