View Full Version : Multiple Purges Not Taking Place?

Hey there -

I have a batch file script that runs these two commands every two hours:

mysql-zrm-scheduler --now --backup-set dailyrun
mysql-zrm --action purge --backup-set dailyrun

The dailyrun mysql-zrm.conf file has this setting:

retention-policy=4D

Yet the mysql-zrm only purges ONE directory from the established backup directory every time it's run, despite the fact that I have backups going all the way back to March 1st. (I had to clear the rest manually.)

Even when I do this:

mysql-zrm --action purge --destination /path/to/backup

It purges one backup, no matter how many I have in there that SHOULD be purged. Any idea why?

This is a bug in 1.2.1 that will be fixed in next release (should be available in few weeks).

In the meantime, is there any harm in just deleting the directories?

No. You can delete the directory as long as it is not the last backup run.
