As far as I can see, amanda documentation and forum chat seem to imply that Amanda Windows Client will work up to Windows 7, and not necessarily beyond. Well, now that Windows 7 is on merely extended maintenance (you cannot purchase a legal Win 7), what is the story for further Windows operating systems. Does anyone know of a working Windows Client on Windows 8, 8.1. What about Win 9 (did it exist), or Win 10.

Windows 8 will work. Windows 9 doesn't exist. Windows 10 has not been tested.
