Restoring to an alternate server

Is it possible to restore to an alternate server for testing/verification purposes?

I currently have a level 1 backup running against our production db server and would like to test restore to our staging server. I can work it out using mysqlbinlog and the other shell commands, but does mysql-zrm provide a method for it ?

Using the community edition.
