Default ZRM using ssh fails on test run

I'm sure this isn't the first time this problem has hit the forum however the only post I was able to locate that had the same problem had no resolve to it. I followed the "How to backup a remote MySQL server with ZRM over the Internet" white paper verbatim however I'm getting the following error and have been troubleshooting the problem for the majority of my day. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Also note: I did verify the two machines can communicate with each other without passwords using the mysql user. Both are able.

Can you check if the privileges are correct for "backup-user"?

The problem was I never specified the localhost access for the backup user. The PDF gives steps for provisioning the access from the remote server with a FQDN and the client with a FQDN but not localhost. The error was given to me on a silver platter but I didn't acknowledge the localhost portion - sorry for the waste of forum space :)
