Backup strategy / tape configuration

Hello,

I could use some help configuring my setup... Can't get sure on how to do it. Here's the scenario: i have 5 linux boxes that i want to backup to a central server. This server has 300GB of disk storage for that purpose. I wish to have a weekly cycle, with a full dump of everything every Sunday, and incrementals on every other day. What would be the best configuration for this, in your oppinion?

Since you are backing up to one medium, I would suggest that you let amanda decided the strategy [incrementals vs full]. Please take a look at the user documentation on

You will have to use the vtape features to prepare you disk for backup. Please take a look at
http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/File_driver
that tells you how to use vtape to back up to disk.
