When I run "/usr/sbin/amtape [config] slot #" I get amtape: could not load slot <none>: chg-multi: firstslot not specified in /usr/adm/amanda/changer-status...
Can you please indictae the syntax for the changer-status file - I have reviewed the documentation and can find it nowhere..

If you have source tree, you can find it in example/chg-multi.conf
